Kovarts is a member of the Crestar Education Group, which operates Crestar Learning Centres (CLC). CLC was established 45 years ago and belongs to one of the pioneers in the local arts industry.
There is an accelerated need for countries, communities, and businesses to rethink what it means to thrive in a post-COVID-19 world. Businesses especially, play a significant role in the responsibility for environmental, societal, governance issues as they can be stewards of change for a liveable future.
Kovarts seeks to prototype such a business in the arts education and enrichment industry. To this end, we hope to contribute to this cause as a form of corporate social responsibility to our society.
Based in the North-East heartlands, Kovarts was founded to bring the arts to people from all walks of life, including the silver generation, young children, and special needs individuals. It has been designed to be a learning hub of arts related activities for the community.
Besides promoting physical fitness and cognitive development, Kovarts strives to bring social cohesion to the community serving as a communication tool between diverse groups. The arts have also been increasingly recognised for its therapeutic benefits, such as helping seniors navigate the challenges of ageing and to overcome loneliness.
We hope to do our part for the long-term social, mental, and physical well-being of our various communities, offering affordable and inclusive programmes in visual arts, language arts, and performing arts to the public.
